The Seventh-day Adventist Church – Accra City Conference is delighted to announce the ordination of nine dedicated ministers into the Full Gospel Ministry. The sacred ceremony took place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Garrison Seventh-day Adventist Church, drawing together church leaders, members, and well-wishers in worship, joy, and solemn reflection.
Ordination is a sacred and scriptural act, rooted in the New Testament church’s practice of setting aside individuals for spiritual leadership through prayer and the laying on of hands (Acts 13:2–3; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6). It affirms God’s calling upon a person’s life and authorizes them to preach, teach, baptize, administer the ordinances, and shepherd the flock of God.
In line with this divine commission, the following ministers were ordained after years of fruitful ministry, character refinement, and commitment to the cause of Christ:
1. Pastor Emmanuel Agyapong Sarkodie – Weija District
2. Pastor Robert Bortey Ahia – Odorkor District
3. Pastor Emmanuel Danyame Quaicoo – Odorkor District
4. Pastor Emmanuel Nikoi Kotey – Ofankor District
5. Pastor Samuel Nyarko – Teshie District
6. Pastor Alex Baah – Dansoman District
7. Pastor Phestus Benjamin Tawiah Boafo – Legon District
8. Pastor Benjamin Brew – Osu District
9. Pastor Isaac Anim Asare – Korle Gonno District
This ordination affirms not only the church’s confidence in their ministry but also God’s divine appointment over their lives. It is a solemn reminder that pastoral ministry is not merely a profession, but a divine calling to serve, shepherd, and sacrifice for the body of Christ (Jeremiah 3:15; Ephesians 4:11–12).
We solicit the prayers of all believers as these men of God step into this sacred responsibility with greater authority and humility. May the grace of our Lord continue to lead and strengthen them in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
